Breaking Free From Your Comfort Zone!

For a while now, I have kept saying to myself I need to start doing video’s I need to start video marketing for my Blog!

and you know what………… I haven’t done it!

You see in order for us to continually grow as human beings we need to break out of what is comfortable and do what isn’t comfortable.

But the truth is once you do it, it really isn’t so bad!

Helen Keller said “Your Life Begins at The End Of Your Comfort Zone.”

There’s no room for adventure and excitement in your comfort zone; in fact, over time you might find that your life may become boring and mundane, now if your ok with living comfortably then that’s great, this blog post isn’t for you and you just click the cross at the top and go back to your life.

But if your fed up living in fear and want more excitement and adventure in your life, perhaps it’s time to stretch those limits a little! Not only will your life become more exciting, but you’ll also build confidence.

So with that said here are a few tips which can help you break free from your comfort zone.

3 tips to Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone

1.Make a fool of yourself. That’s right, go on make a fool of yourself every now and then, who cares what people think or say about you, as long as your having fun and enjoying yourself. One of the biggest things that holds many of us back is our fear of what people think, after all we don’t want people to think weird do we?

Just think about the most lovable, magnetic people you’ve come across in your life. Odds are, they aren’t, agreeable people who are reliably pleasant to be around sometimes. They are the people who were crazy and charming. People who blurted out silly, maybe inappropriate things, or who made huge mistakes and were over the top most of the time, but you and other forgive them, well because that’s just who they are and you like them for it!

So forget about your concern for what people think of you. You’re allowed to be less than perfect, and you may find that people like you more for it, because it makes you a more exciting person to be around. Get laughed at, laugh with ’em. Do something you normally wouldn’t do for fear of looking like an idiot. Be that idiot. You’ll be fine.

2. Face your fears. We all have fears, but they really are just False Evidence Appearing Real. I’m not going to go into so hug explanation on this one guys, just face them, Look at me right now! I’m on camera speaking to you, stepping out my comfort zone growing as human being and facing something I have been fearful of doing for quite sometime. So I can do it, so can you!

3. Become comfortable with taking risks. Your comfort zone is comfortable because it’s where you know what to expect. Going out on a limb can be scary because you might fail. You might lose something. But you might also gain something, and you most certainly will learn a hell of a lot, you will also grow in confidence.

  • Don’t be addicted to the outcome: When you decide to do something, do it for its own sake, not so that you can get a particular result. For example, if you gamble, gamble with money you’re ready and willing to lose; gamble for the fun and exhilaration of gambling. If you win, that’s icing on the cake! But if you lose, no big deal. In other words, let go of your attachment to a certain outcome; instead, focus on the joy of doing whatever you’re doing and live for the moment.

  • Also one last thing is Acceptance: When things don’t go your way, and they won’t, shrug it off. If you’re clinging to your comfort zone, you’re hanging on to an idea that the world is supposed to be a safe, predictable place, and that’s an illusion. You’re setting yourself up for frustration and disappointment. Open your eyes. The world is a dynamic place where things go right and wrong. That’s just the way it is!

Remember that most of the greatest lessons in life are learned by taking risks and living outside of your comfort zone.
